Quest’anno ci saranno le condizioni ottimali per osservare le stelle cadenti prodotte dallo sciame delle Eta Aquaridi, generato dai residui della cometa di Halley. Alle nostre latitudini di solito non è facile osservarle, ma quest’anno saremo fortunati perché, anche se sarà plenilunio il 7 maggio, potremo osservarle favorevolmente, dato che le vedremo salire sopra l’orizzonte proprio quando la Luna volgera’ al tramonto, cioé dalle 2 del mattino in poi.
Falling stars of May the Eta Aquaridi
